Koshu Nishiyama Hot Spring, Keiunkan is certified as ‘the world’s most historic inn’ in the Guinness Book of World Records. It is an inn at the foot of the South Japanese Alps in Yamanashi Prefecture and has all of its hot water directly sourced from the hot spring. Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan, founded in 705 A.D. located in Yamanashi, Japan is the oldest operating hotel in the world.

Running this hotel same family for centuries, and 52 generations of descendants have passed for and operated the establishment. It’s officially the oldest hotel in the world by the Guinness World Records.
