Chitrangada did her schooling from Sophia’s Girl School at Meerut. She has done her graduation in Home Science from Lady Irwin College in New Delhi.
Before her entry into Bollywood, Chitrangada was working as a model. She has been associated with a number of brands like Alukkas Jewellery and ICICI bank and has appeared in a number of commercials.
She is a very good dancer and has received formal training in Kathak form of dancing. No doubt, she is able to shake her legs so effortlessly. Chitrangada came into the limelight when she appeared in a music video of Gulzar called Sunset Point.
Chitrangada made her debut in the Bollywood industry as an item girl in the movie Joker directed by Shirish Kunder. Apart from that, she has even lent her voice to a score in that movie.
