1. Marriott Hotel

With an investment of around 3.5 billion, Everest Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. is opening a five star deluxe, managed by Marriott International. Marriott Hotel will be second exclusive hotel in Nepal managed by the Marriott International after the Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu which came into operation on 23rd March 2017.

The property will have a total of 235 rooms which is under construction in Nagpokhari, Naxal and is estimated to open by the year end of 2018.

2. Sheraton Hotel

After merge of Starwood with Marriott International, Sheraton will now represent the Marriott management. The 17-storied hotel is located in Thamel and will have 213 rooms in total with an investment of around 8 billion by the MIT Group Holdings Nepal, promoted by President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association Shesh Ghale.

3. DoubleTree Hotel

Hilton is also bringing its DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton to Nepal managed by Shanker Group. With an investment of around 4 billion rupee in the project, it will have 15 storied of 138 rooms, located near to the Naxal Bhagvati Temple in Kathmandu.

4. Aloft Hotel

Located in Thamel, with an investment of 5 billion rupees Chhaya Devi Complex is constructing Aloft Hotel. The property will have 175 rooms in total and is expecting to operate by the end of 2019.

5. The Leela Palace

The Summit Group of Hotels and Resorts, and Leela has signed a deal to start a luxury hotel across Nepal including Kathmandu. The Leela Palace will be located close to Narayanhiti Palace and the property will draw mostly from the rich Newari traditions.
