As the biggest spiritual gathering in the world began with the ‘Shahi Snan’ on the auspicious occasion of Paush Purnima on Monday, devotees from not just India but around the world flocked to the Triveni Sangam in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj to take a holy dip during the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Despite the freezing waters during the cold winter season, people from all over the world, including foreign devotees from South Africa, New Zealand, Russia and many other countries, took a dip in the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the ‘mystical’ Saraswati.
Despite the presence of millions of devotees, an Indian ‘sadhvi’ from Uttarakhand has been grabbing all the limelight, thanks to her stunning looks. Soaked in devotion, the ‘sadhvi’ all the way from Uttarakhand reached Prayagraj and took the holy dip.
A self-proclaimed devotee of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar, the ‘sadhvi’ revealed that she is 30 years old and has been involved in religious life for the past two years. When asked about her decision to follow the religious path, the ‘sadhvi’ said that she embarked on the path of righteousness and spiritualism for ‘sukoon’ (inner peace)’.
She further revealed that being in the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 was an amazing feeling as she was searching for moksha (salvation). She admitted that the water at the confluence was cold, but her heart was warm after she took a dip.
