Two content creators recorded a video from the ghats of Varanasi, where one played the role of a tea seller and the other became a customer. In a video uploaded by Kaisa Oljakka and Ankit Kumar, Kumar posed as a food blogger asking ‘chai wali’ Kaisa to serve him some tea.
The video showed Kumar approaching Kaisa for a cup of tea and paying her the money to buy it.
He introduced people to the setting and said, “Here, at Banaras’ ghat, a foreigner is selling tea. Let’s see how is her tea”.
This video is now going viral on social media, looking at food vloggers who feature stalls and condemn food preparations.
The video was posted on Instagram in December on the page ‘Videshi Indian‘. So far, it has gone viral, attracting over 50 million views on social media platforms.
