Karen Juliath Ojeda Rodriguez, 23, a dangerous hitwoman known to police as “La Muneca” (The Doll), has been arrested in connection with several gang killings, including the recent murder of her ex-boyfriend, according to several reports.
Rodriguez was allegedly involved in several high-profile murders in the Barrancabermeja area of Colombia allegedly carried out at the behest of the Los de la M gang, the New York Post reported citing a Spanish language outlet. The hitwoman was reportedly looking to expand her career, leading a small cadre of hitmen in her ‘reign of terror’ in the region before her arrest.
Her ex-boyfriend was allegedly killed in a July 23 ambush in a rural area of Colombia. Rodriguez called Deyvy Jesus and told him to meet so that they could resolve a money dispute, according to police. However, the unsuspecting man was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle, allegedly at the behest of “the Doll”.
She was arrested alongside an accomplice named Paula Valentina Joya Rueda, 24, who is known as “Gorda Sicaria” (Fat Hitwoman). Another accomplice, identified as “Leopoldo” was taken into custody at the same time as Rodriguez and a revolver and a 9-millimetre calibre pistol were recovered from him.
