Delhi Metro has been in the news recently due to unusual dance reels, verbal and physical fights, and public displays of affection. Although it has been one of the most convenient means of public transport in the national capital, unruly passenger behavior is common on its premises. In a similar incident, two women fought fiercely on board the metro, leaving co-passengers shocked. A video of the catfight that took place in the ladies’ compartment has now gone viral.
In the clip, a woman can be seen sitting while the other one stands close to her. The one sitting is heard shouting at her fellow passenger, saying, “Meri god mein baith jaa (sit on my lap).” She then gets up from her seat and escalates the verbal spat into a physical altercation. She can be seen pushing the woman who was standing next to her. Soon, she gives her a blow and pulls her hair, sending other passengers into a shock zone. However, some co-passengers tried to mediate and calm the women down.
