Who we are

The internet,
curated
by humans.

In a world drowning in AI-generated noise and algorithmic slop, Buzzativ exists to do one thing — find the real stuff. The moments that made someone laugh, cry, or stop mid-scroll and show their phone to the person next to them.

✓  We publish this

Original reporting with a verified source or first-hand account
Viral content with added context — the "why it matters" angle
Personal essays about South Asian internet or culture moments
List pieces with original curation — not recycled from other sites
Short-form explainers on trending topics (400–800 words)

✕  We don't publish this

Unverified rumors or content without a traceable original source
AI-generated or heavily AI-assisted content
Outrage-bait, hate speech, or content targeting individuals maliciously
Pieces already published elsewhere (no simultaneous submissions)
The process

From idea to published
in 4 steps.

Simple, transparent, and fast. Here's exactly what happens after you hit submit.

1
Submit your piece

Fill in the form with your name, topic, content type, and either a draft or a detailed pitch. Attach any supporting links or media.

2
Editorial review

Our team reads every submission within 48 hours and checks it against our editorial standards. You'll hear back either way — no ghosting.

3
Feedback & revisions

If we're interested, we'll send notes. Most pieces go through one round of revisions. We work with you, not around you.

4
Published & promoted

Your piece goes live with your full byline, bio, and author links. We then push it across our social channels and newsletter.

Guidelines

Before you submit, read this.

Following these guidelines gives your submission the best chance of being published. Pieces that ignore them are returned unread.

First-time contributor? Don't overthink it. Send us your best draft or a 3-sentence pitch and we'll take it from there. We'd rather help you shape a rough idea than pass on a great story.
01
Word count: 300–1500 words

Short explainers (300–600 words) and medium features (800–1500 words) both work. We don't publish anything under 300 or over 2000.

02
Include your sources

Link to every tweet, video, news article, or social post you reference. If we can't verify it, we can't publish it.

03
Original content only

Your submission must not be published anywhere else. We do not accept simultaneous submissions. First rights only.

04
One featured image minimum

Submit at least one 1200×675px image you have rights to use. We cannot publish pieces without imagery.

05
Write in plain English

Write how you talk. No jargon, no formal essay structure. Buzzativ is casual, direct, and written for people who scroll fast.

06
No self-promotion

You can mention your own work in your bio. Inside the article, content must be about the topic — not about you or your brand.

07
Pitch or full draft — both welcome

Send us a 3-sentence pitch or a complete draft. We respond to both. Pitches get faster initial feedback.
